Planning & Zoning Board

The Planning and Zoning Board is appointed by the City Commission.  In the City of Wildwood, the Planning and Zoning Board duties have been conferred by the City Commission to a Special Magistrate.

The Planning and Zoning Board/Special Magistrate is responsible for the following duties:

(1)   Hear and make recommendations to the City Commission on site plans, improvement plans, and final plats in accordance with the standards and procedures required by the City of Wildwood Land Development Regulations.

(2)   Hear and make recommendations to the City Commission on all proposed zoning amendments and conditional use permits.

(3)   Make the final determination on requests for variances and special exceptions.

Planning and Zoning Board meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month.
