Utility Department to Conduct Smoke Testing on the City’s Sewer System

The city’s utility department will be conducting smoke testing on the city’s sewer system November 4th through November 6th, 2024. This testing will be done in the area north of Cleveland Ave and east of US 301. See map provided.
These tests check for possible leaks in the system. Smoke rising from the ground or other portions of the system is often visible while testing is underway.
