City of Wildwood Completes Storm Debris Collection

Wildwood city officials are advising the public that crews have completed collecting vegetative debris from Hurricane Milton along city-maintained streets.

“Our crews began collection soon after the storm ended and have continued to work extended shifts to remove debris,” explained Public Works Director Jeremy Hockenbury. “We greatly appreciate residents’ cooperation in this effort. Our team takes pride in our community and works hard to make Wildwood a great place to live.”

Residents on privately owned and/or maintained roads should refer to information from their property management or homeowners association regarding storm debris removal. Residents of The Villages® should refer to instructions from District management.

Residents on city-maintained streets who have any remaining storm debris may call 352-330-1336 to schedule a bulk pickup.
