Pamala Harrison-Bivins
I am a life-long resident of the City of Wildwood. I graduated from Wildwood High School in 1973.
I am a graduate of Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, FL, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Divinity degree from Payne Theological Seminary, Wilberforce, OH.
I am a Duke Energy Corporation retiree; however, my 38-year tenure included employment with Florida Power Corporation and Progress Energy.
Recently, I have been recognized by the Florida League of Cities for 20 years as an elected official in the State of Florida.
I have served the City of Wildwood since 2000 and have seen many changes during this time. We now enjoy many of the things that were only thoughts when I was first elected. When I first campaigned for City Commissioner, I was focused on Parks and Recreation. We now have many opportunities for our residents – youth and seniors – and the city continues to explore new innovative ideas to bring more recreation to the area.
We now can shop and dine within the City of Wildwood as we want. We have many opportunities that most of us, who grew up here during the 1950s and 1960s, never thought would be possible but look at us now. We are the “City on the Move,” and the best is yet to come.
